Kobiety IT 2021

This year we are meeting for the fifth time at the Women of IT Conference.

We want to support you, motivate you, inspire you and break stereotypes, but this year we want to emphasize how important it is to be yourself and accept yourself. We believe that there is a place for each of us in IT, so we will help you to find yourself in this world. The values we want to share are best illustrated by our slogan this year: „Be yourself, be a woman, welcome in IT”.

We are constantly changing for you. Last year, for the first time we introduced an English-language panel, but this year we are going a step further by expanding the group of English speaking guests. Our speakers work at Nokia all over the world, often occupying the highest positions in the company, but you will also have a chance to listen to girls who have recently started their career in IT. Our speakers come from Finland, Germany, Great Britain, Spain, Romania, France, Hungary, India and, of course, from Poland. Among the invited guests, there are also speakers from the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń and the Bydgoszcz University of Science and Technology.

As last year, the meetings will be held on-line. During our dynamic 20-minute lectures we will cover many interesting topics, both technical and motivational. Each lecture contains a tag: PL or EN informing about the language in which it will be conducted. You will for sure find a lecture that may be interesting for you no matter if you are just entering the IT path or already following it. We are glad that you are here with us today and we hope that this year’s theme will appeal to you.
